After, finding out our original home site location, 150 feet from the bridge, was unacceptable, due town restrictions, and faced with soil conditions that would not support the original septic system design, we set out to find a new location, for our home.

  With the help of Alan Regier, our site engineer, we were able to locate a new home site, 1034 feet up the Mountain from the bridge. This meant building an extensive road, installing power lines 6 times as far as originally intended, and designing a new pressurized mound septic system. Some might feel that this would be a detriment, but to the contrary, this new location gave us an unexpected surprise.
